Wore it to my cousin's wedding in Yaoundé
Akwen M., Silver Spring
I ordered the lavender tunic in Medium and wore it to my cousin's wedding last month—people were asking who designed it all night. The diagonal seam catches light beautifully, and the runway cut means it actually moves when you walk. Paired it with my own trousers and felt like I stepped off the catwalk.
Beautiful but runs narrow through shoulders
Sang T., Bamenda
I ordered Medium and the tunic is genuinely gorgeous—that embroidered seam is intricate work—but the shoulder cut is closer than I expected. Not unwearable, just snug if you're broad. The length is perfect and the lavender is exactly as pictured. I'm keeping it because it's special, but wanted to flag the fit.
Statement piece, but needs a steamer
Bih N.
The asymmetric tunic is exactly what I wanted for my friend's naming ceremony in Greenbelt—the embroidery detail is stunning and the lavender wool-crepe has real weight to it. Only thing: mine arrived slightly wrinkled from shipping and the fabric is dense enough that it needs proper steaming. Worth it for the compliments, though.
Perfect for my alumni gala
Tchassem B., Washington DC
Wore the Large to an Howard alumni event and this tunic was the move—nobody else had anything like it. The close cut through the body is intentional and flattering, and the diagonal seam really does make you stand out without being loud. The mandarin collar detail feels refined.
Wore to runway event in DC
Ngoh K., Silver Spring
This tunic is called a runway piece for a reason. Wore it to a local fashion showcase and it performed—the lavender with that diagonal stitch is architectural, and you feel different when you put it on. True to size in Large, and the wool-crepe drapes like it knows what it's doing.
