Indigo Batik Fringe Tunic

Wore under a sheer boubou overlay for my wedding reception—the fringe peeked through and everyone loved the detail. True to size in M, and the weight of the fabric kept everything in place all evening. This is the kind of piece you'll wear for years.

Wore this over cream linen to my nephew's naming ceremony in Bamenda last month. The indigo is so rich, and the fringe moves when you walk—felt elegant but not stiff. I'm a size M and it sat right at my hips, not too loose like some tunics. My mother-in-law asked where I got it.

Bought mine in XS, my daughter borrowed it for her work event and looked so sharp. The indigo-white motifs feel timeless—not trendy, just solid. The fringe doesn't shed or tangle. I'm ordering her a size XS too because we both want to wear them to her graduation.

Ordered the L and wished I'd sized up—the tunic runs close through the chest and shoulders, which is beautiful for the aunty cut but I like more room to breathe. The batik work is handmade quality, you can feel it. Still wearing it to events, just with a scarf over.

The batik is stunning and the fringe is delicate handiwork, but the linen is thin enough that you need something under it. I wore it to an alumni dinner with a slip and it was perfect, but I wish the description had mentioned that. Sizing was true to my usual L.
